Coupa is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our Human Resources and Talent team. This is a key role as we grow, drive, and develop our recruiting strategy whilst scaling and building the Development and Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in full-cycle recruiting, leading a recruiting team, and in-depth expertise in recruiting activities and standard methodologies.

To ensure success you should be an experienced technical recruiter with a keen understanding of the practices and processes involved in acquiring and cultivating talent.




  • Be a trusted advisor to Hiring managers and interview teams on hiring standards and methodologies.
  • Thoroughly evaluate candidates, prepare professional write-ups, and present candidates in an accurate and detailed manner.
  • Analyze research and understand requirements to identify qualified talent.
  • Authority on resume search portals, using search engines, passive techniques, cold calling, and using social media tools to identify candidates.
  • Effectively prioritize and handle a balanced requisition load.
  • Communicate at all levels to inform the staffing and HR teams, and management about a candidate’s search status.
  • Own the full cycle recruiting process, including sourcing and closing all candidates.
  • Drive an efficient hiring process and maintain quality pipeline metrics via the ATS.



  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience specializing in Engineering, IT, Product Management, etc
  • Proven understanding of technical terminologies and ability to explain them
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, agile, enterprise software environment
  • Ability and willingness to recruit across multiple organizations and maintain confidentiality
  • Proven track record of high close rate
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Customer-focused and candidate experience obsessed
  • Extensive experience in sourcing and identifying candidates through social media and other non-traditional methods
