Coupa is seeking a Program Manager to join the fast-growing Business Operations team.  In this role, you will support the various Business Operations functions on key strategic projects including (but not limited to) Corporate Analytics, Data Management, and Order Management.  The ideal candidate is hands-on with a keen focus on operational excellence.  Projects will include various cross-functional and ad-hoc initiatives involving the Corporate Analytics, Data Management and Order Management functions. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage projects of various size and complexity from initiation through completion.
  • Hands-on with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; willing to work on projects across variety of focus areas. 
  • Manage M&A integration activities within the Business Operations team.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and measurable metrics to meet project goals.
  • Coordinate interdependent tasks and deliverables with other functional groups Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Identify and manage potential risks of multiple projects simultaneously.     
  • Lead and manage project update meetings by creating agendas, presentations and action items. 
  • Document team decisions and follow up on action items and deliverables.  Update and report on project status consistently.
  • Coordinate and motivate cross-departmental stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time.

    Qualifications:

     

  • 8+ years experience in project management / change management.
  • Ability to think outside the box, with a keen focus on operational efficiency.
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, etc.).
  • Highly productive and proactive with minimal oversight.
  • PMP certificate or prior project management experience in Business Operations a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively between all levels within the organization.  
  • Hands-on: willingness to roll up your sleeves on all projects regardless of scope.
