We are seeking a motivated individual that thrives in a fast-paced, diverse working environment. You will be responsible for new system development and integrations within the HCM tool. You will own the full development life cycle that includes, design, build, test, deploy and maintain for all requests related to Ceridian. In addition to new system requests, the position includes providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of existing processes and workflows. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working with top talent and who is looking for an excellent opportunity to get involved with multiple HCM projects with no limits to what they can accomplish.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for design, developing and managing integrations between HCM and all downstream internal and external applications.
  • Responsible for technical specification for development, test, and manage the rollout of the solution.
  • Work directly with internal customers and third-party vendors to provide technical support, research, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues promptly.
  • Create and manage all technical documentation related to integration and upgrades/new modules.
  • Participate in the design, configuration, and deployment of new projects & system enhancement.
  • Collaborate with business leads to ensure test plans cover use cases & regression tests for validation against acceptance criteria.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with HR, Payroll, and other business partners. Uses deep business knowledge to drive engagement for IT Deliverables.
  • Works closely with the business partners to gather and analyze the business requirements, prepare the functional specs to make sure IT Teams understand and deliver the solutions as expected.
  • Take on project management responsibilities and responsible for successfully delivering the projects.
  • Understand the business and IT processes and effectively do the impact/root cause analysis to solve business problems/issues
  • Work directly with internal customers and third-party vendors to provide technical support, research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure that processes and procedures adhere to defined external audit and internal controls
  • Collaborates with end-users, functional analysts, and management to coordinate application upgrades and software fixes, maintain system tables, document processes, and test results
  • Serves as the escalation point of contact for the functional analyst covering front line support to troubleshoot and fix issues and write reports and queries
  • Maintains confidentiality and the highest degree of integrity

    Requirements:

     

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Computer Science/Programming) or applicable experience/credentials of expertise
  • Minimum of 5+ years of work experience and demonstrated proficiency supporting enterprise application systems (preferably working with HRIS or HCM systems)
  • Building integrations between applications/systems experience using API and/or SFTP
  • Experience with SQL and scripting abilities
  • Experience analyzing requirements, developing file interfaces, programming, testing, managing upgrades, and implementations
  • Experience with HCM such as Core HR, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Payroll preferred. (Ceridian experience a plus but not required)
  • Strong background utilizing advanced Excel techniques and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Data and detail-oriented, both verbally and written, with the ability to speak both business process and technical process based on whom you are working with.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic Project Management skills that demonstrate your ability to build, manage and execute upon a plan.
  • Ability to work within a global organization and flex with the need to work in multiple time zones.
