Coupa Software is looking for a FP&A Manager to join Coupa’s Financial Planning & Analysis team. The FP&A Manager will drive value across a broad spectrum of the Company with a particular focus on fiscal year planning, quarterly close, budgeting, and financial & operational metric reporting processes. In this role, the FP&A Manager will support planning for key business processes and requires strong financial reporting, planning & modeling skills, focus on details and solid business judgment. Impeccable character, integrity, and work ethic are essential for success.

The position will be supported by the Sr. Director of FP&A and you will work closely with the FP&A leadership team.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Manage and review essential data models used in the core monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes
  • Lead and perform financial analyses for various revenue and expense streams with a focus on Sales and G&A teams.
  • Work cross-functionally to support departmental decision-making with forecasting, planning, reporting, and analytics
  • Build components of the corporate financial presentations, internal presentations, and play a role in any financing or M&A activities
  • Support the FP&A team in implementing ad-hoc projects with minimal direct supervision
  • Support Financial Analysts in enhancing existing models and development of new models to support business needs
  • Embrace the Coupa FP&A mantra of building for scale by proactively collaborating, influencing, and align the company’s planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy

    Desired Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related fields; MBA or CFA a plus
  • 4+ years of proven FP&A work experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to creatively solve problems with a data-driven approach
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and build complex models (in Excel and Anaplan)
  • Self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise SaaS financial reporting and planning for metrics including Billings, Subscription Revenues and Retention Rate
  • Ability to deal with variance and manage expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with enterprise software tools such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa and/or Anaplan
