We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a keen interest in Financial and Operational data and metrics to join our FP&A team as an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will be versatile and a key member of the FP&A organization. They will play a vital role in orchestrating the aggregation and validation of various data sources that feeds into the FP&A team’s analysis and metrics reporting.
This role will lead operational excellence initiatives and coordinate projects internally for alignment and prioritize spanning the breadth of the FP&A team. Leveraging regular interactions with key stakeholders across Accounting, Sales Operations, Sales, Professional Services, and Business Applications departments, the successful candidate will drive streamlined practices that enhance the data quality and reporting for the FP&A organization. The position will be supported by the Director of FP&A and will work closely with the FP&A and Operations leadership team. The position is located in our San Mateo, CA headquarters.




  • Collaborate with SOW Desk, Deal Desk, Revenue, Professional Services and Business Applications teams to support data gathering and process improvements for KPI metrics generation and analytics
  • Coordinate post-close M&A integration activities with cross-functional teams to support FP&A initiatives
  • Partner with the broader organization to drive process and systematic improvements across the Company
  • Prepare and review month-end and quarter-end compliance and audit reporting
  • Support the FP&A team in executing ad-hoc projects
  • Lead project management and lifecycle management efforts for the deployment and periodic maintenance of Coupa’s Financial Planning platform



  • 5+ years of demonstrated work experience in related operational fields; Software Sales Operations, Finance and/or Business Operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related fields
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to creatively solve problems with a data-driven approach
  • Strong program and project management skills required with an ability to maintain productivity across competing priorities
  • Self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision
  • Working knowledge of financial reporting metrics related to Enterprise SaaS models including Billings, ACV, Subscription Revenues and Retention Rate
  • Ability to deal with conflict and manage expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with enterprise software tools Salesforce, NetSuite, Anaplan, and/or OpenAir a plus
