LOCATION of role: This person must work from the HQ office in San Mateo, CA several days a week.

This strategic role is responsible for ensuring customer service excellence across Coupa offices globally. Focused on creating a welcoming and collaborative environment aligned to business needs, they will support a global team of Workplace professionals, manage office amenities and facilities, global real estate strategies, office relocation and refurbishment projects, and more.




  • Manage global Workplace operations including facilities, amenities, office services, and health & safety
  • Define Workplace Experience strategies in close partnership with HR, IT, and Finance.
  • Develop standards for signage, furniture, carpet, lighting, IT, and employee services worldwide. 
  • Tightly manage facility and capital budgets with key partners including HR, Finance, IT, and Procurement
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders & leaders to ensure alignment and smooth execution of Workplace projects and activities.
  • Develop standardized processes for Workplace agility, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead, support, and develop a world class Workplace Experience team.
  • Manage requirements around ergonomics, insurance, safety and security.
  • Present Workplace strategies, updates, and ongoing results to Executive leadership.
  • Lead relocation and refurbishment projects. 
  • Partner and align with local leadership to ensure the Workplace Experience is consistent yet adaptable.
  • Manage external suppliers and related contracts.
  • May be required to lead other projects and special duties as required from time to time.



  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • 8+ years in hospitality or Workplace services with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Demonstrable global real estate experience 
  • Experience managing teams across geographies and time zones
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Ability to successfully manage simultaneous project teams, resources, and milestones within budget and time constraints
  • Ability effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
