Coupa Software is looking for an Associate Financial Analyst to join Coupa’s Financial Planning & Analysis team.
The Associate Financial Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the end-to-end financial and operational planning at Coupa. The Associate Financial Analyst will partner closely with Coupa’s Accounting and Business Operations as well as expand on partnerships with the Value Services team, Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development teams.




  • Manage essential data models used in the core financial process such as revenue and cost and used in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Support cross-functional team(s) as a business partner to provide key performance metrics and ad-hoc financial and operational insight for senior management
  • Support the billings and revenue forecasting processes with ownership of key contributing inputs driving business growth 
  • Review business spend across departments or spend categories and provide clarity on ad-hoc spend related queries
  • Partner with Accounting, Business Operations and Human Resources teams to develop analytical reporting frameworks including IT automation as well as hiring and training teams



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related fields
  • Demonstrated ownership, problem solving, attention to detail and analytical skills
  • High level of integrity and ability to navigate gray areas to arrive at appropriate business/ customer-focused conclusions
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while delivering high quality results

    Preferred Qualifications:


  • 0 – 3 years of experience in corporate financial planning, analysis or forecasting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with ability to compile, transform, analyze, and present data
  • Self-starter capable of driving business outcomes without significant supervision
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to creatively solve problems with a data-driven approach
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM and ERP systems 
  • Ability to deal with conflict and manage expectations
  • Understanding of the Enterprise Software industry and SaaS business models
