Workplace Strategy & Operations Director at

We are looking for a proven Workplace leader to join us immediately on a one year fixed term contract.

The position will have two priority focuses. Firstly, taking the lead on all real estate and workplace activities in relation to our ‘Future of Work’ strategy and planning.

Secondly, you will act as maternity cover for the People Experience department director from January – September. You will spend the first few months being brought up to speed on all activities within this broader space before being responsible for ensuring strategic alignment between business wide objectives and department results.

About the team:

The team is one of the six pillars of our People department – our mission is to enable our people by creating a seamless and connected experience inside and outside the workplace!

We are made up of five core sub-areas; Workplace Transformation, Workplace Management, Health and Safety, Internal Events and Wellbeing. 


What You will be doing:


  • Acting as project lead for all real estate workstreams related to our ‘Future of Work’ strategy and planning
  • Create and implement capacity planning methodologies to ensure our spaces will be utilised optimally as we transition into a ‘Hybrid working model’
  • Develop real estate planning standards that incorporate our innovative approaches
  • Ensure the new Workplace technology platform has capabilities that will fully support our Future of Work approach
  • Develop a high level understanding of wider People Experience organisation (CRE, FM, H&S and Events) area in order to act as a department lead from January-September 2022
  • Produce regular reporting on People Experience 2022 roadmap and team critical metrics

    About You:


  • Demonstrable experience in a similar industry
  • Experience within Corporate Real Estate planning and delivery
  • Detailed understanding of developing space planning strategies
  • In-depth understanding of Integrated Workplace Management Systems
  • Knowledge of running hybrid/agile working models
  • Solid understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
  • Excellent project and demonstrable people leadership skills
  • Data driven approach and solutions focused
