Our mission is to build a world-class data platform that powers our products and analytics.

Our focus should be on maximising the amount of time other teams spend on solving business problems/innovating their products and minimising time spent on technical details around implementation, deployment and monitoring of their data solutions.

We’re building for scale. As such, much of what we design and implement today will be the technology/infrastructure which will serve hundreds of teams and petabyte-level volumes of data.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive vision and strategy for Data Platform’s offerings and align with stakeholders
  • Lead the strategy, vision, and roadmap from inception to delivery together with the Engineering team
  • Own, prioritise and communicate the short, medium and long term release plan of the teams
  • Create and develop metrics/KPIs to evaluate the usage and success of the products you’re accountable for, and actively monitor them
  • Monitor, measure and evaluate success of rolled out infrastructure/technical products and iterate as needed
  • Champion adoption of new infrastructure support/systems developed by the team
  • Collaborate with the rest of the technology and product departments to understand opportunities, requirements and priorities to ensure the team is focusing on the right initiatives
  • Highlight, report, and handle delivery risks and issues

    About You:


  • Prior technical product management experience, preferably working closely with data teams
  • You’ve shipped products heavily involving data, with great user experiences
  • You’ve coordinated projects between cross-functional teams and technical teams
  • Are able to handle demanding timescales and support stakeholders on critical projects
  • Pro-active with a continuous improvement mentality
  • Passionate about the end-user and use cases to help support decision making or any other data applications
  • Excellent at building productive relationships with stakeholders and engineering peers
  • Comfortable using data to drive decisions, ensuring that your product and team are successful
  • Proven track record of becoming a subject matter authority on complex data products and platforms
  • Data driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations
  • Experience with a range of product delivery methodologies such as Agile or Kanban
