Staff Product Manager: Pricing and Billing

Checkout.com is looking for an experienced product manager to expand our financial platform. This role will own company-wide pricing and billing functions for our entire range of products and will be responsible to set a long-term vision and strategy for the function. They will provide cross-functional expertise across product, engineering, and commercial teams in enabling our pricing strategy with new and dynamic pricing capabilities. They will collaborate closely with their stakeholders within and outside Checkout.com, and ensure a transparent and frictionless customer experience.

 

About you:

 

  • 7+ years of product management 
  • Demonstrated ability in building high-volume pricing and billing platforms in industries such as Payments or Adtech (Payments / Fintech experience is preferred). 
  • Experience in SaaS infrastructure pricing and cloud-based systems 
  • Experience in designing and implementing pricing strategies into a scalable and real-time pricing engine with in-depth knowledge of pricing and billing models and their financial impact
  • Experience in building billing capabilities for enterprise and SMB customers 
  • Strong understanding of business operations, and financial and regulatory needs while delivering pricing and billing as a service 
  • Ability to convert business strategy into product vision and strategic priorities to drive product roadmap and execution 
  • You think from the customer perspective and are able to balance future opportunities with immediate needs
  • You are great at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering, treasury, and finance with high EQ and influencing skills
  • Data-driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them
  • Effective communicator: you can get others excited about a shared vision and can simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences

  • Provide domain expertise in pricing and billing products to serve business and customer needs
  • Develop product vision, strategy, and data-driven prioritisation to build a platform that unlocks value
  • Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders and work with them their buy-in and collaboration to generate momentum for your products
  • Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery
  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com ’s customers and business
