Senior Technical SEO Specialist at Checkout.com
We’re looking for a Senior Technical SEO Specialist to join our marketing team, ideally based in our London or Tel Aviv office. This is a unique opportunity to join a business that has experienced exponential growth over recent years, but is only really just getting started with its SEO efforts.

In this role you’ll be responsible for Checkout.com’s technical SEO setup. You’ll work closely with the product, engineering, and wider marketing teams to ensure the website has a strong technical foundation.

You’ll also work to establish and maintain Checkout.com’s international SEO strategy and ensure the brand and its products can be found in organic search by potential customers all over the world.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Develop Checkout.com’s technical SEO roadmap
  • Help design and implement an effective international SEO strategy
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver improvements to the website
  • Perform regular technical audits of the website
  • Analyze complex data sets to understand organic performance and generate useful insights
  • Coordinate with the wider SEO team on content strategy
  • Identify optimization opportunities and take a hands-on role in implementing changes on the website
  • Continuously monitor site health, raising bugs and performance concerns where necessary
  • Be an advocate for SEO best practice across the business

    About you:

     

  • You have strong hands-on SEO experience in an international environment (preferably in-house)
  • In-depth understanding of all areas of SEO including content (onsite), technical and outreach (offsite), and of the importance of crawling and indexing when it comes to SEO success
  • You know how to work with log file data, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools
  • You have experience working with data in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • A proven track record of implementing website changes that deliver increased search performance
  • Ability to work together and cross-functionally with other teams
  • You have a test-and-learn approach and understand how to drive growth and engagement through wide-scale testing
  • A passion for SEO and able to stay up to date with industry developments
