Supporting Checkout.com’s rapid growth and working with cross-functional teams in both our HQ and our regional offices, you will manage an exciting agenda of HR projects. Reporting into the Sr. Manager, People Strategy and Planning, this is an incredibly varied role with significant opportunity to have a huge impact and be part of an exciting newly established team. You will be granted trust, autonomy and freedom to deliver results whilst working as part of a highly collaborative team.
Acting as a key part of the PMO and Change center of excellent for the People team and supporting the design and delivery of transformational projects (such as performance management, geographical expansion, job evaluation, decision making framework, Workday implementation.) you will project manage initiatives to accelerate our growth and work with the team to drive efficiencies of scale through building scalable HR models, solutions and automations.

Previous experience of leading on key HR projects within fast-growing global organisations, managing projects end-to-end and ensuring continual improvement.

What you’ll be doing
Act as the central PMO for key strategic People projects building and owning project plans, promoting a high-level of governance and effective status tracking.
Be a central point of contact playing a connecting role across teams and driving collaboration.
Proactively identify key activities that need to be undertaken within workstreams and work with owners to map and drive activities.
Oversee change, communications and learning impacts across priority programs
Partner closely with the change and communications specialist to deliver effective change.
Track costings and activity against business cases, monitor risk and issue logs and provide regular progress reports to leadership.
Identify and understand key people risks in projects, identifying and troubleshooting remediation plans where applicable.
Co-own and be a champion for our Project Management tools, such as ClickUp, and introduce impactful frameworks and models.
Continuously educate and instill project management principles across the People Department.
Identify opportunities to improve process and drive efficiencies across the People department, working with SMEs to advise and guide.
Support the People Strategy & Planning Director to ensure that People leader meetings are scheduled, agenda’s prepared, minutes taken and actions completed, act as a scrum leader.
Analyse and present relevant HR data to provide information around latest thinking in the industry / HR Strategy and market intelligence using regular HR reports.
