Senior Employer Brand Specialist at Checkout.com

Checkout.com is actively looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Senior Employer Brand Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team.

In 2022 we’re scaling exponentially in the US, as we look to increase the size of our local team by over 300%. We need a Senior Specialist to drive raising our profile as an employer of choice to encourage more fantastic people to join us on our journey.

Reporting to the Employer Brand Team Lead (based in London), and working closely with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition Specialists in New York, this role will be instrumental in developing our local employee value proposition and helping attract, recruit and retain talent for one of the world’s fastest growing FinTech companies. The majority of our roles in the US span across Commercial, Marketing and Operations. Bespoke branding for our tech team won’t be required.

In brief, we’re looking for someone with an excellent understanding of the US hiring landscape and proven experience building inspiring and engaging employer brands in the market.

 

What You will be doing:

 

  • Drive the development of our employer brand within the US; coming up with innovative ideas and clear campaigns that localize our Employer Value Proposition
  • Manage new and existing job platforms and take ownership of local recruitment events to develop our pipeline
  • Continuously create in the moment content with the team to show an external audience what life at Checkout.com is like in the US (blog pieces, social posts, interviews with team members)
  • Partner with our senior leaders in the US. Whilst our global headquarters are in London, 4 of our C-level positions are based out of NYC and the US has a dedicated Country Manager
  • Research the talent market to find relevant audiences and develop new opportunities and ideas to target them
  • Use a data-driven approach to analyze the success of our Employer Brand initiatives and make recommendations based on your findings

  • A detailed understanding of the US hiring market to help us meet our skills needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal competencies with an ability to build positive relationships both internally and externally
  • Passionate about data, analytical and comfortable producing reports, unveiling key insights and recommending concrete action points
  • A passion for showcasing outstanding colleague experiences through a variety of media
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, whilst developing scalable ideas at pace
