About the role is seeking a Product Manager to join our Merchant Experience Product team, based in our London office.  

Merchant Experience is the group responsible for all of our merchants’ customer experience throughout their CKO journey. From product discovery to onboarding to operating their solutions, Merchants will use the products and processes designed and built by the Merchant Experience team to be delightful, compliant and secure. 

Our global merchants already trust us to pay salaries, marketplace sellers, remittances and make crypto-to-fiat payouts. You’ll play a critical role in defining authentication & authorisation solutions for Checkout’s evolving merchant use cases and expanding geographic coverage


What you’ll be doing:


  • Use data and judgement to craft our strategy and define clear roadmaps for authentication and authorisation across all Checkout products
  • Prioritise for impact and work with our engineering teams to execute on the delivery of features to a high standard 
  • Work with other Merchant Experience product teams to help simplify the complex process of enabling merchants to start transacting with, whilst keeping everyone secure
  • You’ll be partnering with other product teams, as well as with commercial, operations, support, compliance, risk, finance, and go to market teams in defining user experiences and processes
  • Work closely with third party providers to ensure they are able to support and deliver the highest level of service that we thrive to provide our merchants

    About you:


  • 4 or more years of product management experience
  • Proven experience with API-driven products
  • Obsession with customer and developer experience as drivers of business value
  • Track record of data-driven decision making with focus on business value
  • You thrive on collaboration as a key member of an impactful team 
  • Ability to build relationships and trust across the organisation with high EQ and influencing skills
  • Payments or Fintech experience is a plus
  • Identity & Access Management experience preferred
