Now is an exciting time to join the marketing team at Our vision for the payments market is huge, and our team is working on a range of exciting developments. We’re hiring for a strategic, analytical and hands-on marketer to join our marketing team in Greater China.
You’ll be the owner of localising and creating the marketing and education content roadmap in China.

Reporting into the Greater China Marketing Lead, you’ll be closely partnered with the local commercial team and the global product marketing team to increase awareness, adoption and loyalty in the local market. You’re skilled in providing clarity and translating complexity into clean, streamlined value propositions that resonate with the target audiences. We’re looking for someone who is highly cross-functional – always one to collaborate across business functions and move quickly to respond to changing market, business and customer needs. 


About You


  • You have 5+ years of related experience in a fast-growing tech company across Marketing, Product Management or Strategy and minimum 2+ years experience in Product Marketing at a Payments or FinTech company
  • You have a consistent track record of working with China cross-border brands, you know our local customers personas inside out and understand their needs, difficulties, and use cases
  • You’re a native Mandarin speaker and have full professional proficiency in English
  • You’re a product marketing expert – you’re skilled in adapting and creating marketing contents that resonate with our target audiences
  • You’re a storyteller – you’re able to articulate a compelling and impactful product vision for key personas and use cases
  • You’re drawn to insights – you’re always curious and can gather customer insights to advise and validate value propositions, positioning and messaging
  • You can balance short term vs long term – you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are highly effective at shipping iteratively, prioritising against key business goals while still thinking about driving forward the longer-term vision
  • You’re a project manager – you can manage all the minutiae detail for different projects at once and always know the critical team members to bring along on the journey
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally – you’re a strong communicator, connecting business functions and a wide range of team members to share insights, gain alignment and drive forward crucial decisions
  • You’re a sales team advocate – you’ve had deep experience working with the sales/commercial team to ensure that they have the knowledge and materials to communicate the value of a product offering effectively

    What You’ll Be Doing


  • Product management: localize and create marketing contents and assets to drive awareness, acquisition and retention of new products and features.
  • Target audience: Define addressable market opportunity, resolve key segments and build personas by maximising quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Value proposition development: Create differentiated value propositions that resonate with target segments and personas.
  • Positioning: Strategically position products underpinned by a deep understanding of customer needs, key industry and regional trends and competitive landscape.
  • Customer insights: Run market research and competitive analyses, also partner with the local commercial team to gather significant insights to validate and iterate on our value proposition and positioning.
  • Sales enablement: Create educational programs, collateral and tools to optimally enable the sales and marketing team to target and sell into key segments successfully.
  • Collateral creation: Build and maintain a library of materials from case studies, testimonials, product collateral, pitch decks and more to support the marketing and sales team messaging and conversations.
  • Product ambassador: Knowledge sharing of products, solutions and market with internal and external team members.
  • Occasionally domestic travel to speak at industry events.
