Manager, Financial Partnerships at is seeking a dedicated Manager of Financial Partnerships to join the adventure and support the business’s rapid growth and expansion.

Your main responsibility will be to maintain key account alliances and relationship programs designed to create fruitful sales opportunities. Contribute to the development, management and overall strategy of retention and growth of our Card Schemes, various Partners, and Regulators across the EU.

In this new role, you’ll have the opportunity to interact at all levels externally (e.g. being the main business adviser for our partner) and internally (e.g. acting as an External Partnership Leader to make sure our acquiring function infrastructure is scaling as we grow quickly).

Reporting to our SVP Financial Partnership for governance matters and our Regional Manager locally, the successful candidate will be able to handle multiple areas of responsibilities autonomously, demonstrating excellent critical judgement with hands-on approach. What You’ll Be Doing


  • Support EU expansion plans through, creating new business opportunities and promoting the brand
  • Nurture and develop existing relationships with EU partners. Experienced negotiator able to deliver competitive commercial terms based on value, volume, and differentiation of services offered to merchants
  • Negotiate and prioritize with Product and Commercial Leads to formally identify minimum viable payment product in market (MVP) and accountable for Financial Partnership delivery of MVP offering in line with periodic product roadmap/planning exercises
  • Provide effective commercial procedures or initiating change to ensure key operational commercial and financial targets are delivered
  • Work closely with our acquiring partners on a day-to-day basis to resolve operational issues that affect our merchant base
  • Influences and liaises with commercial and product teams to drive payment growth in line with scheme /financial partner strategic agreements, incentives, and compliance parameters
  • Understand and contributes to the application of the Comprehensive Credit Risk Framework in region in collaboration with Risk and Scheme Compliance teams

    About You


  • Minimum of 5 years of merchant service work experience related to merchant underwriting
  • Advanced knowledge of financial statement analysis
  • Experience in preparing and approving credit packages
  • A collaborator – someone who has previous experience liaising between various departments and persons
  • Strong critical skills – must have worked in an approver capacity, and be able to critically assess an underwriting package for quality
  • Passionate about continuous process improvement
  • A people person, the successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm towards upskilling colleagues and using findings as learning opportunities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent work-based experience will be required
  • The successful candidate will also need to be available to travel from time to time
