Manager, Business Development at 

You’ll implement commercial strategies whilst upholding the highest standards to ensure sales goals are met and exceeded. This is a critical role on the sales development leadership team, and we need a leader who is proactive, results-orientated with a passion for coaching. A key responsibility is to ensure our teams are motivated, progressing and exceeding targets. You’ll be an integral part of our growth with considerable influence on strategy, expansion and development, as well as the opportunity to enhance your own career.

We’re looking for an expert on all things sales development; a leader who leads from the front. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a fundamental role in our rapid expansion. If you’re a motivated and driven individual who is excited at the prospect of managing a team of Business Development Representatives across the US, this is the role for you.


Key Responsibilities


  • Team creation, growth and management
  • Partner with our hiring teams to establish hiring strategy and processes that will enable you to hire top performing BDR’s
  • Outline key processes to ensure we have the foundations in place to enhance our growth
  • Implementation of performance reviews and career progression plans
  • Management of BDR KPI’s and activities to ensure all individuals are exceeding targets
  • Ensure the team is motivated and driven whilst ensuring they have all the tools vital to be successful
  • Promote value based selling across all outreach materials
  • Own and maintain the BDR Playbook to ensure BDR standard methodologies are met. It’s vital that this is consistently reviewed to provide our new starters and tenured BDR’s the training materials to perform at the highest level
  • Identify trends to implement standard methodologies and new opportunities
  • Management of the top of the funnel sales approach, work closely with sales and marketing leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of our messaging and ensure we are aligned in our approach
  • Analyze performance and use data-backed decisions to make refinements
  • Work hand in hand with our global sales development teams to share best practices
  • Work closely with internal team members across the commercial function to ensure alignment
  • Knowledge of our internal tools and how they can be applied to increase performance
  • Understand our customers’ need to demonstrate the value proposition
  • Constantly keeping up to date with the latest developments in sales and the payments industry 

    About You


  • At least one years in a business development team lead/management capacity
  • Direct experience of sales development
  • Three years minimum of additional sales experience
  • You’re a leader. You engage and empower winning teams that succeed.
  • You’re an excellent recruiter. You’re aware of the key attributes that are critical in becoming an extraordinary BDR. You’re proactive during the hiring process and attract the best candidates in the market.
  • You make data-backed decisions to identify opportunities for growth
  • You’re curious. Intellectually curious to constantly be learning and keeping on trend with the latest developments in prospecting. Curious in development and proactively seeking areas to increase performance. Curious in our customers, what makes unique and how can we demonstrate our value proposition
  • Design and implement frameworks that will steer to long-term objectives being met
