Director, Revenue at’s finance department is looking for an experienced, hands-on professional who can lead and grow our Revenue team. The successful candidate will need to be an independent, hard-working individual, able to stand out in an entrepreneurial environment whilst developing the overall control environment of the function. 


What you will be doing:


  • Managing the revenue analytics, reporting and billing teams
  • Ensuring monthly revenue and cost of sales reporting to facilitate timely, accurate and relevant management decisions and meet reporting standards and requirements
  • Responsible for the reconciliation and maintenance of AR ledgers and associated credit control
  • Developing the control environment concomitant with the size and scale of the business.
  • Managing and supporting the wider finance team with inter-company revenue and cost reconciliation
  • Working with pricing, reconciliation, scheme and product teams to ensure accuracy for COS accounting
  • Managing and enhancing our revenue analysis (profitability, variances, discrepancy investigations)
  • Coordinating revenue audit across the multi entity Group (local and group audit)
  • Working with risk team on accounting for provision across multiple products and entities
  • Working with BI team in enhancing and developing internal reporting and revenue analysis
  • Help improve internal processes and controls in a fast paced environment
  • Support the Revenue team in developing the wider control environment surrounding the revenue reporting
  • Preparation of the creditors workings for month end close
  • Ad-hoc support for the wider finance teams (Central Finance, Payments and Reconciliation)
  • Ad-hoc internal and external reporting

    About you:


  • Fully Qualified (ACA or ACCA) with 10 years + post qualifying experience
  • Experience of Fintech / Payments (preferred)
  • Has experience with statutory and SOX audits
  • Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and ability to work through problems logically.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel (mandatory). Experienced in managing large datasets.
