The Team You’ll Work With

The Sales Development Representative Teams are the driving force of Carta’s upward trajectory. Our SDRs work with our India Sales leader to drive Carta’s footprint in the India market, opening up potential client conversations and maintaining a healthy lead pipeline. We pride ourselves on investing in our team and promoting from within. All SDRs receive training on Carta software, private market finance, and equity administration along with ongoing training in consultative sales, client management, negotiation and sales operations.

The Problems You’ll Solve

  • Identify Carta’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), prospect via multiple channels like Email, Phone, LinkedIn and generate conversations.
  • You will help drive the overall company pipeline. Execute cold outreach campaigns leveraging a “customer first” approach 
  • Qualify prospects using multiple frameworks (eg BANT) to ensure right conversations flow in the funnel.
  • Work alongside with the AE team to build a healthy outbound generated sales pipeline
  • Respond to prospects who come to our website requesting demo
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure top of funnel acquisition 
  • Elevate Carta’s brand awareness and generate leads for Corporations, and partnerships

About You

  • Grit – Ambitious, driven, and fearless in the face of rejection. The candidate should be comfortable in cold calling and reaching out to prospects with confidence at the back of a value driven conversation
  • Coachability – Tremendous desire to learn about FinTech and constantly improve in a “no-egos” environment
  • Emotional Intelligence – Ability to read emotional cues, understand a customer’s needs, and navigate a meaningful conversation and provide meaningful solutions
  • Customer-Facing Experience – Experience working in a high volume customer-facing role
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Track record of success in a lead generation role is a plus
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
