The Team You’ll Work With

The Demand Generation Team develops and executes journeys that usher prospects and customers from awareness to purchase to advocacy, optimizing for return on investment. We answer the question, to what extent is Marketing a lever for growth, and how do we maximize that lever? We own the technical foundation for Marketing's execution in each channel and Marketing's impact on the overall business and its product lines. 

The Problems You’ll Solve

As a demand generation leader, you will focus on building top-of-funnel activity, identifying our target accounts and coming up with creative new approaches to bringing in new business to Carta. 

  • Drive forward Carta's core mission of creating more owners in the equity economy by educating markets about the value of equity-based compensation 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and all parts of Marketing to iterate on messaging and identify our target audience
  • Manage demand generation for upmarket Carta accounts; from events to emails to ads and anything else you decide 
  • Research, develop, and execute targeted ABM campaigns to increase our net-new enterprise signups
  • Create opportunities and touch points for upsell and cross sell across Carta’s suite of products

About You

Please note that we are open to hiring a Manager or Sr. Manager and would evaluate level throughout interview process.

We’re looking for someone data-driven, customer-centric, who knows how to work in a dynamic environment with lofty revenue targets.  Cross-team collaboration and communication is critical to success in the role, as well as efficient time management. In addition, we’re prioritizing someone who: 

  • 5+ years in enterprise B2B marketing 
  • Experience working with growth and late stage startups 
  • Has deep knowledge of growth marketing techniques and tactics
  • Cares about customer needs and pain points
  • Has a hunter mindset and constantly pursues opportunities 
  • Has a passion for category creation and scaling new products 
  • Knowledge of equity management, and/or venture capital is a plus
