About the team
The Marketing & Engagement Group’s mission is for Canva “to become the most-loved brand in the world”. We do this through brilliant creative executions, marketing strategy, brand governance, community insights and data analysis.
Our internal creative team, Brand Studio, services all of Canva’s product, marketing and leadership teams. We are responsible for championing Canva’s brand, communicating what we stand for internally and to our community, and evolving as we learn, grow and pursue excellence in branding.
We’re looking for a skilled copywriter to join our Brand Studio (Manila) team, working closely alongside our internal Creative team to help produce creative campaigns for our Canva PH goals.
About the Role
As a Junior Copywriter at Canva you will have the opportunity to work on one of the fastest-growing platforms in the world and all the content that promotes and enriches it. Since launch in April 2013 we have grown exponentially, amassing over 20 million users in over 100 languages.
Canva’s mission is to “empower the world to design”. To achieve this, we need to hold a megaphone to our brand pillars and become best-in-class content creators across every channel.
A copywriter’s mission is to create content that makes complex things simple and gives everyday people the ability to make extraordinary things. We place a strong emphasis on the success of our community. Your words will help to define Canva’s brand—ensuring that our customers receive a human, inspiring and educational experience.
This could include copy for branding campaigns, email campaigns, advertising, product positioning, landing pages, social media, video scripting, style guides, and more. With a fully-equipped internal creative team, Brand Studio, you’ll get more work done in one month than you would in one year at an agency.
