You will be joining Canva’s Business & Education Marketing Team, which is responsible for growing awareness, consideration and adoption of Canva in teams and classrooms. The team serves multiple product lines, including Canva Pro, Canva for Enterprise and Canva for Education. Within B&E Marketing, the Demand Generation team plays an instrumental role in building and executing globally scalable go-to-market strategies that accelerate growth through the execution of innovative multi-channel demand generation programs.
We’re looking for a talented, experienced and motivated Demand Generation Lead to join the Demand Generation team. Your work will be instrumental in forming and delivering the go-to-market strategy for our strategic sales motion, building innovative programs to engage strategic accounts and dream logos. Working in close collaboration with our Content, Sales, Operations and Growth teams, you will manage the responsible investment of significant budgets, and manage key external relationships.
Overseeing programs spanning multiple markets, channels, and verticals, your keys to success will be your deep understanding of enterprise demand generation strategies, a customer first mentality, and a data driven approach to marketing that helps you to identify and amplify strategies that drive impact. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and working in a fast-paced global environment. Most of all, you’ll be deeply excited and motivated by the opportunity to help define B2B marketing at Canva and empower businesses everywhere to achieve their goals through visual communication.
What you’ll do:
Demand Generation. Build, execute and optimize multi-channel demand generation programs to drive awareness, consideration and adoption of Canva in strategic accounts.
Strategy and leadership. Develop the strategy to scale demand generation programs across multiple channels and markets and get endorsement from leadership and internal stakeholders.
Goal ownership. Manage the investment of budgets across multiple channels to achieve revenue goals and objectives. Own key external relationships with agencies and other partners.
Data and reporting. Measure, analyze and report on campaign performance to optimize results and provide insights and learnings to the broader team. Apply and test, learn and optimize approach to all initiatives.
Stakeholder and project management. Successfully manage projects spanning across a wide range of internal stakeholders across the marketing, content, growth, sales, website, CRO and product teams.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years demand generation experience in B2B tech, with expertise owning budgets and leveraging digital channels to drive awareness, leads, and revenue outcomes
Excellent analytical skills with experience bringing together data from multiple sources across the funnel to inform strategy and optimize programs
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to leadership, manage multiple stakeholders on cross-functional projects and collaborate closely with peers in a remote environment
Hands on experience building and optimizing campaigns across digital marketing channels including SEM, paid social, display, owned website channels, email and third-party tools
Experience working closely with sales to build programs that engage groups of target accounts, ideally including Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategies
Ability and willingness to work on both a strategic and tactical level to execute demand generation programs as we build internal capacity.
Experience with the B2B marketing technology toolstack including Pardot, Salesforce, varied analytics, reporting and CMS tools, AB testing solutions, etc
Deep understanding of the B2B buyer journey, including funnel metrics, lead scoring, personas, audience development, and lifecycle marketing strategies
