The team interacts with our users to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about Canva and its features. About the role
Canva focuses on building a great user experience, and part of that is great support. Our User Voice Group is the home of customer support at Canva. As a content writer, you will be responsible for crafting useful and relevant help content so people find an answer to their questions. This content might appear across our help touchpoints, including the Help Center, Assistant and chatbot.
You’re an experienced web content writer who is passionate about great content and how it contributes to an amazing user experience and enables the growth of the product.
You have an understanding of UX writing principles including how to use research to make decisions about what content to write and how to structure it.
You’re able to research, write and deliver high-quality content that meets the needs of our users around the world and is written in Canva’s tone of voice.
You understand SEO best practices as applied to content writing.
You’re able to collaborate with other teams and groups to identify content opportunities and gaps, and to keep content up to date.
You have experience publishing content using a content management system (CMS).
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are self-motivated and well organized.

At least 4 years professional content writing experience.
Proven understanding of digital marketing specifically in relation to content and email marketing.
Understanding of UX writing principles.
Ability to write and deliver high-quality content for multiple channels and mediums in a timely manner.
Demonstrate versatility of writing styles that appeal to various target markets.
Very collaborative and solution-focused approach when working with teams and groups.
Able to work autonomously in content execution
Passionate about great content and how it contributes to an amazing user experience and enables growth of the product.
Good understanding of how to read data to map out customer journeys and touchpoints.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated and well-organized.
