As a member of the Internal Communications & Talent Success team, you will help Box's 2,000 employees around the world embrace our strategy, values, culture, epic workplace, and amazing teams through a multichannel communications approach, as well as foster an environment that builds and strengthens our culture and the employee experience. In this role, there is great opportunity to impact leaders, functions, and the entire company by helping build community and dialogue across Box.


  • In this highly visible and collaborative role, you will help to produce, write, edit, and drive strategic global internal communications plans across email, Slack, video, presentation decks, live events, social media content, and more!

  • You will have the opportunity to own, manage, (and 10x!) several of our team's hallmark programs including our company intranet (“Inside the Box”), global newsletter (“Box Bytes”), Friday morning email series, new hire newsletter (“The Welcome Wagon”), weekly virtual All Hands (“Box Friday Lunch”), and employee recognition program (“Proud Cloud Awards”).

  • You will also have the opportunity to drive communications consulting with our business partners, as well as assist with culture and community events as needed.

  • You will become an expert on our team's processes, practices, templates, and metrics — identifying areas for improvement and innovation that maximize the impact of our communications and culture strategies.


  • You have strong written and oral communications skills, with a high degree of comfort in presenting in front of large audiences.

  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and have strong project management skills.

  • You have experience designing presentations, videos, and creative collateral.

  • You are able to work calmly and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

  • You are able to build strong relationships across the business to influence, manage, and drive communications narratives.

  • Above all else, you have a willingness to learn and take on new challenges — big and small!

You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial, and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Box, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across PR, comms, marketing, product and beyond.
