As the Group Product Manager for Governance, you will own the strategy, goals and roadmap for content lifecycle management capabilities at Box. You will manage a team of product managers and innovate complex strategies in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a mix of analytical horsepower, deep customer engagement, strategic thinking and targeted execution. You will be responsible for delivering ARR and adoption growth while driving best in class user experiences for both end users and administrators. You will think holistically and deeply about a portfolio of product capabilities and use cases to set the right long-term direction for your team of PMs and cross-functional partners. 


  • Become an authority on information governance and content lifecycle management at Box. You’ll lead your team to identify customer needs and business opportunities through a combination of user research, customer and internal stakeholder feedback, data, and competitive analysis.

  • Drive a critical company-level information governance and content lifecycle product vision, strategy, metrics and roadmap.

  • Manage and develop a team of product managers to understand customer needs, deliver on the vision, drive business metrics and execute to roadmaps.

  • Cultivate relationships with engineering, design, business analytics, product marketing, sales, solutions engineering and customer success to identify and deliver impactful product deliveries and launches.

  • Communicate clearly and crisply with senior executives and drive alignment across multiple teams and organizations.


  • 5+ years of experience delivering successful, scalable enterprise SaaS products.

  • 2+ years of experience managing product managers.

  • Experience with and passion for content lifecycle management, information governance, compliance or a related field.

  • You are comfortable doing both high-level strategy and execution: you are confident giving a presentation to the CEO and running a meeting with engineers, operations, and marketing.

  • Deeply understand how your products work and how to measure short-term and long-term success.

  • Build consensus and listen well, but also drive hard decisions and lead teams based on customer needs, understanding of data and strong product sense.

  • Strong technical and business background, CS/MBA preferred.
