Senior Software Engineer – Invoice2Go – GTM

The Invoice2go Data Team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can contribute to the planning and implementation of impactful initiatives across marketing and communication channels. This individual will be provided with the opportunity to lead the long term strategy of marketing data at Invoice2go and will be entrusted with executing on their vision and roadmap. They will be joining and be fully supported by an established team utilizing a modern data stack that currently processes tens of millions of records per day.

In this role you’ll be working with the broader marketing team to tailor solutions to their needs, allowing them to work smarter and faster.  You’ll also work closely with the larger engineering organization to implement solutions. 


Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 8 years of software development experience or 6 years of software development experience with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in building ETL pipelines and data warehousing.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with customer data platforms such as Segment.
  • Experience leading projects to completion.

    Expected Outcomes in 12 months:


  • First Week: Resolve a bug and deploy your fix to production
  • First Month: Familiarize yourself with the existing marketing stack, being able to gather requirements from stakeholders
  • First 3 Months: Develop a quarterly roadmap and key results
  • First 1 Year: Be able to independently interface with our marketing/GTM team and propose strategy and long term projects to uplift their chosen metrics and OKRs.
