We are looking for a VP of Client Strategy Operations to push new initiatives forward, implement and optimize tools being used across the team, put advanced analytics at the center of decision making, and ensure that we have the appropriate resources, processes, and compensation frameworks in place to hit ambitious growth and revenue targets.
You will bring alignment to the 12 teams and 350+ people within the Client Strategy organization, and execute on the strategies set by the executive team as well as the CS leadership group. All key initiatives will run through your organization whether it is scoping out projects, bringing operational excellence to core processes, or working closely with other teams at the company to make progress on our largest objectives.
To thrive in this role you will need to develop a great understanding of our business, build deep relationships across every department in the company, have a strong aptitude for data and analytics, and keep pace in an incredibly fast-moving environment.
You will report directly to our Chief Customer Officer.
Responsible for helping to build, operationalize and optimize the end-to-end revenue model of the organization, creating alignment across Sales, Marketing, Client Strategy and Partnerships, and continuously increasing the velocity of all revenue related activities, resources and processes.
Work with Sales Ops, BI, FP&A, and the CS Ops team in order to run compensation planning, headcount modeling, OKR setting, and capacity planning.
Proactively identify, develop and drive long-term strategies and initiatives that will support continued growth in people (hundreds of new hires/year) and revenue ($100s of millions in ARR/year).
As part of the leadership team, participate in key discussions that help shape the overall strategy and direction of the company.
Personally quarterback key company- and department-wide initiatives in a fast, efficient, and effective manner.
Partner with the leadership team on executive strategies and deliverables for board materials and more.
Manage the evolving technology stack and processes used by all of Client Strategy.
Have perfect knowledge, mastery, and shared ownership of the data architecture of data sets that are relied upon by Client Strategy and the rest of the company to make critical strategic decisions and monitor our performance against key objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience leading client strategy, business operations or revenue operations at high-growth B2B SaaS startup
Deep understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success processes and metrics of B2B SaaS business
Natural curiosity and solutions-oriented mindset that leads to proactively coming to the table with creative solutions
Strong leadership skills; able to lead, develop, and manage several growing teams across multiple functions
Strong presentation skills combined with the ability to present data in a way that is persuasive to all audiences
Mix of analytical mindset, technical abilities, business acumen, and personal drive
Excellent communications and influencing skills – able to manage up or down in the organization
