We are looking for a Manager of Sales Development who is eager to build out and scale a department virtually from scratch. There are currently 2 SDRs on the team, and you will be looking to immediately hire 2 more with room for future growth. We’ve already seen initial signs of success in this motion, and you will work closely with Sales Leadership to provide your recommendations on how to best invest in and scale this motion further for the business. You will also coordinate cross-functionally with other departments such as marketing, customer success, product, and engineering
Manage a team of SDR direct reports, including onboarding, continued training & education, coaching and performance management, and career development
Develop, maintain, and optimize SDR processes for prospecting into our extensive database to generate quality pipeline for our team of Account Executives.
Tweak existing processes and create new ones to address problems you, your team, and Leadership identifies.
Roll out processes, train your team on best practices, and track / analyze results
Analyze team and individual metrics to maximize efficiency and productivity
Report weekly, monthly, quarterly performance to sales leadership to inform strategic investments for SDR motionTrain and mentor our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) on prospecting tactics, time management, objection handling, and Salesforce
Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional peers for you and your team (Insides Sales Reps, Account Executives, Sales Management, Marketing, etc.)Interview prospective SDR candidatesHelp develop career paths for SDRs to further their professional growth
Skills & Qualifications
2+ years SaaS experience as a top performing SDR, SDR Team Lead, or AE and/or 2+ years of sales enablement or sales training experience.
At least 1 year of management experience is preferred.
Familiarity with Gong.io, Salesloft, Salesforce, Gmail, Social Selling techniques.
Proven track record in creating, delivering, and training successfully with measurable results in fast paced environments
Strong ability to summarize and communicate complex ideas into curriculum with a strong sense of how sales professionals think, operate and absorb trainingPassion for coaching and educating others
Strong process and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and create improvements
