The Business Systems Analyst will be a leader on the Sales Efficiency and Technology team responsible for managing the scale, maintenance, improvements, and architecture of Salesforce and associated integrated applications. The Business Systems Analyst partners with senior business stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps, lead evaluation, implementation, and configuration of solutions to ensure that applications are aligned with business needs. The role combines strategic responsibilities with in-depth hands-on technical expertise to drive application innovation across the company.
Establish and maintain bi-weekly release cycles, backlog grooming, and user acceptance testing with stakeholders and project teams; lead team sprint close/kickoff meetings
Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize and ensure business objectives/OKRs align to system requirements and solution roadmaps
Mentor a small team of more junior BSAs and SFDC admins
Develop standards, policies, and processes regarding business application support, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement
Serve as a team steward to implement, evangelize, and support processes and Sales Efficiency and Technology delivery methodology; contribute to continuous efforts to improve processes that increase efficiency and quality of service
Manage 3rd party vendor relationships and renewals (to include system implementation partners and managed services engagements)
Provide technical oversight to team members on overall system design, integrations and enhancements
Manage the full application lifecycle to include scope definition, implementation and ongoing maintenance
Plan and implement effective testing processes and plans to ensure that deliverables adhere to requirements
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
4+ years of experience implementing, configuring and managing Salesforce environments
2+ years of additional experience with relevant business systems such as Outreach, Clari, LeanData, etc.
Knowledge and ability to direct a team and 3rd party resources to deliver and maintain application solutions and services
Experience leading application implementations utilizing Agile delivery methodology (Jira)
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to set proper time and resource expectations with stakeholders
Works effectively and diligently with or without deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
Experience in a variety of data integration technologies (Tray.io, Boomi, Zapier, Mulesoft)
