We are looking for a Talent Lead to partner with our Go-to-Market and G&A Team!

Our Talent Team is comprised of people with backgrounds in talent management, learning & development, and organizational development. We make smart, simple and effective talent programs to unleash the potential of Atlassian Teams.
We’re hiring a Talent Business Partner reporting to the Head of Talent Management. You are an HR and Talent professional with a background in building talent programs. Here, you’ll guide transformational talent programs that improve the Atlassian employee experience.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Employ a consultative approach when partnering with the People Team HRBPs and business to diagnose our needs, identify capability & talent gaps, and influence solutions/outcomes to close the gaps by applying the Talent CoE to build programs that improve organizational performance.
  • Support the talent strategy at Atlassian, including helping develop & implement talent projects in partnership with the business, HRBPs, and Centers of Excellence to meet our goals and priorities and also by translating existing talent frameworks and strategies that are adopted by the business.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, deep business context, and direction to members of the Talent CoE (composed of Talent Leads and Specialists) when working together to solve challenges across the employee lifecycle and when helping shape enterprise program delivery.
  • Demonstrate creative solutioning by adapting and translating existing Talent CoE resources and frameworks within established guardrails to solve for the business’ people challenges and priorities.
  • Promote transformational change by accelerating the use of Talent CoE programs across globally dispersed teams.
  • Partner with other COE POD members to lead the TA, DEI, and TR agendas, leverage working knowledge of TA, DEI, and TR to support team goals and outcomes around representation, inclusion, and equity.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for Talent CoE programs and CoE Pod projects across Atlassian, supporting these programs towards completion and results.
  • Be the Talent expert for the CoE Pod throughout the project/initiative and help accomplish the project plan including providing progress reports, and flagging interdependencies and risks with the Pod Lead and Program Manager.
  • Adopt Agile practices and methodologies in the pursuit of the delivery of CoE Pod projects according to Atlassian-wide people goals.
  • Use data and analytics to improve of the portfolio and to share a powerful narrative with important partners on progress, outcomes and risks.

    Your background

     

  • 15+ years talent management and talent development experience with progressively challenging responsibilities.
  • Background consulting in a senior management role focused on the following areas: Onboarding, Talent Planning, Performance Management, Manager Development, and High-Performer Retention and Engagement.
  • Success with diagnosing needs in different contexts and application of talent management and talent development subject matter expertise across the employee life cycle.
  • Excellent storytelling skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to translate talent management and talent development frameworks and solutions into an accessible, influential narrative.
  • Experience creating talent programs in a global, remote-first environment with multiple team members
  • You come with a collaborative approach and willingness to jump from strategy to development to change management, and back again!
  • Genuine and authentic nature that quickly earns trust with leaders; ability to work with senior leaders and executive team
