Our Enterprise Solution Sales team builds and implements a sales strategy. They guide the use of select products and services to our largest customers. At the same time, we want our Strategic Account Executives, to be an advocate for our customers, providing feedback to our product and engineering teams and helping us improve our customer experience. They lead territories comprised of named accounts and a geographic region, frequently working arm-in-arm with our own Strategic Account Managers, Solution Engineering, Channel Partners, Product and Marketing organisation.

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Account Executive to join our team and help bring Jira Align, an enterprise project management and Agile planning tool, to market. The Strategic Account Executive will identify and close new business opportunities, developing relationships with main decision-makers, and adoption of Jira Align across APAC.

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

 

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through a combination of networking and outbound prospecting with our core Enterprise Advocates team.
  • Present the value of Jira Align to the C-suite executives of potential customers.
  • Work in a team environment with other parts of Atlassian (Channel Managers, Solutions Engineers, Inside Sales, Marketing, Services, Support, Product Management, Finance and Legal) to ensure prospects are educated on the benefits of Jira Align.
  • Work with Atlassian partner management and directly with our partners who range from the world’s largest IT service providers to other sales and service firms of all shapes and sizes to implement the GTM strategy of Jira Align.
  • Define a clear vision for your territory and plan/communicate on funnel/account/territory status regarding resource requirements, challenges, and successes.
  • Use leading technology – CRM, Zoom – to work both virtually/remotely and on-premise with your customers.

    Your Background:

     

  • You have a proven track record of success in a B2B software sales role
  • You have experience with Agile methodologies and project management software
  • You have excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • You have experience building relationships and selling to Enterprise businesses and C-suite stakeholders
