Are you an experienced Treasury Analyst with a rock-solid work ethic, a good sense of humor, and mind-blowing attention to detail? If so, we’ve got a home for you on our world-class Treasury team. Our newest Sr Treasury Analyst will join a team that is responsible for global treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting, global investments, foreign currency risk management, global corporate card program, and capital markets activities. This role will assist with foreign exchange activities, treasury processes and procedures, internal and external reporting, and debt management. We love our teams at Atlassian and will partner with multiple cross-functional teams. You’ll also work with the broader finance team, including accounting, FP&A, tax, and external stakeholders.

 

In this role you’ll get to:

 

  • Assist with the foreign exchange hedging programs (cash flow and balance sheet) and hedging portfolio, including identifying foreign currency exposures and develop appropriate hedge proposals
  • Analyze exposure forecast and results, evaluating impacts of hedge portfolio at each month-end
  • Interact with FX banking partners and assist with foreign exchange confirmations and settlement process
  • Support corporate debt management, including credit facilities and letters of credit, compliance with covenants, and interest rate swap settlement
  • Assist with developing capital structure recommendations and execution of associated initiatives
  • Analyze payments metrics and partner with Atlassian’s payment processor to optimize payment infrastructure costs and acceptance rates
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting, including internal and external audit requests
  • Use innovation to lead process improvement and automation initiatives, streamlining treasury reporting and deliverables
  • Assist with ad-hoc treasury projects, partnering with finance, accounting, FP&A, tax, legal, and IT
  •  

    Experience and skills:

     

  • 3-5 years work experience in international treasury, preferably for a multinational public corporation
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business-related field
  • Experience and comfortable working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience working with a treasury management system
  • Strong desire to automate treasury processes leveraging technology
  •  

    It’s great but not required, if you have:

     

  • Experience in the software industry
  • MBA, CTP or CFA preferred
  •
