We’re growing faster than ever and are on the lookout for an awesome Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Amsterdam. If you enjoy getting creative about finding awesome talent and guiding them through a legendary hiring experience, this is the role for you. Do you love pushing the boundaries on how recruitment is done? As a Senior, you will manage all parts of the recruitment life cycle. This includes sourcing, driving candidate pipeline, branding the company as an employer of choice, and guiding hiring manager relationships. The right person will enjoy the freedom to develop new initiatives and roll out new programs internally.

Your future team
We’re hiring a Senior Recruiter, reporting to Shanna Bertain (Talent Acquisition Manager, EMEA). You will join a team of recruiters and senior recruiters, with a mix of agency, start up and corporate experiences. We’re a distributed team, spread across the Netherlands, UK, and Poland.
We are scaling, so you will enjoy working with people on the same mission: finding the perfect person for the role. We take pride in playing as a team and contributing to the success of the company through hiring. We love to exchange ideas, so we can hire smarter, solve recruitment hindrances, and improve the hiring workflow. What you’ll do


  • Lead the recruiting cycle end to end
  • Smash hiring targets to build Atlassian from 8,000 to 25,000 employees globally
  • Work directly with team members while influencing how teams are built
  • Collaborate globally with our incredible Talent Acquisition function

    Your background


  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally gained from a mix of internal and agency environments
  • You have a consultative and customer-focused approach with hiring managers
  • You have deep experience finding information and are unafraid to ask questions
  • You use creative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels to find new candidates
  • You have an understanding of the software industry, as well as the experience and drive to thrive in it
