Atlassian is looking for a kick-!@$ Pre-Sales Engineer passionate about solving our customer’s hardest problems and closing our largest enterprise deals. In this role, you will partner with the enterprise sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of Atlassian’s customers. You will help customers to adopt Atlassian Cloud platforms and to achieve success using Atlassian Solutions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 

  • Investigate, discover, and assess client needs that relate to the adoption of Business or Enterprise Agility and map these to Atlassian capabilities
  • Assist Atlassian customers in evaluating the current Atlassian footprint and devising Cloud Migration & Adoption strategies
  • Configure and deliver deeply compelling presentations to audiences that clearly communicate how we resolve their business challenges
  • Help us to level up the Solutions Engineering team through knowledge sharing, feedback loops and adoption of industry standards
  • Partner with product management to identify areas of opportunity to advance Atlassian’s platforms & product lines
  • Contribute to thought leadership including, representing Atlassian at Agile conferences and partner events & training; supplying white papers, analyst relations, and blog posts; enabling sales teams, etc.

    We want a dynamic team member who will both teach and learn from our dynamic and growing community. On paper, you have 5-8 years of experience interacting with enterprise customers in a pre-sales, consulting, or delivery capacity with a particular focus on the challenges businesses encounter when adopting Software as a Service way of working.
    More importantly, you are a creative problem solver who can interpret complex problem statements, boil them down into solutions, and collaborate with prospects, channel partners, and the Atlassian sales team to deliver winning solutions. You’re equally comfortable in both a business and technical context, interacting with executives or talking shop with strong technical audiences. You love to learn, are open to giving and receiving feedback, tolerate failure, love to win, hate to lose, and are passionate about making clients successful.
    Still reading? You’ll need deep familiarity with Atlassian products. You understand the process by which software gets defined, built and deployed, and you have experience with the Saas solutions. As a bonus, you can wow us with your vision for how these solution spaces come together.
