Regional HR Partners are as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to a region/site’s leadership team. They are responsible for providing HR support for region they support and work closely with leaders and managers on a variety of issues including; strategic workforce planning, capability evaluation and development planning, and site-specific culture development, among other things.
Regional HR Partners also work closely with their FBO/Functional HRBP peers and local leadership to design and deliver site-specific people initiatives and execute against site-specific program rollout and delivery.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Be a strategic partner to site leaders on HR matters including organizational design, structure, growth, and functioning of the site
Act as an anchor for topics including leadership development, performance management, talent management, and capability building Identify the People charter for the site, and design and deliver a site-specific workforce plan to deliver against it
Collaborate with FBO/Functional HRBPs to craft site-specific initiatives and execute program rollout
Be the conduit to continuously anchor the cultural assimilation for the site with Atlassian
Surface and tackle for local people challenges and/or site requirements
Support the design and implementation of global projects, as required
Initiate, manage, and contribute to reports, committees, and/or continuous improvement activities
Provide support on Employee Relations matters being driven by the ER Partners and partner on high impact, high visibility cases Provide training and mentor for managers
Oversee and conduct investigations and ensure compliance with policies and practices, as well as Federal, State, and local employment laws
Coordinate payroll and work with local benefits providers to administer leaves and other benefits requests, in accordance with local laws
Collaborate with the Workplace Experience team on health and safety of employees at the site and act as an emergency response officer
On your first day we’ll expect you to have:
Experience advising on a varied range of employee populations
Strong skills in anticipating and identifying problems and use of good judgment and fact-based analysis to develop and deliver effective and efficient solutions.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and anchor the change management process for the relevant groups
Ability to identify problems and opportunity areas, get alignment on the solutions, and execute the solutions independently
Ability to build relationships with varied stakeholders, across different regions
The ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment
