We’re looking for someone to look after a talented team of full cycle recruiters and sourcers supporting hiring for Customer Support and Success.
In this role, you will lead a team of distributed individual contributors responsible for hiring critical individual contributor and leadership roles across CSS for multiple rapidly scaling business units. We have tight relationships with our business and excel at the partnerships that we build. You will be responsible for implementing scalable, innovative recruiting strategies aimed at attracting top engineering talent. You enjoy telling a story with data, consider yourself a default collaborator, and have experience encouraging the craft of CSS recruitment.
You will report to the Recruiting Manager of CSS.

On the Atlassian Talent Acquisition team, we use a collaborative, data-driven approach to hiring, building strategic initiatives, and ultimately help leadership hire the right people, at the right time. What you’ll do


  • Lead a team of experienced recruiting and sourcing professionals building their careers. As a coach and facilitator using your experience and situational awareness to help your team continue their development path
  • Bring a focus on data. You’re excited by the role data can play in improving recruiting outcomes, individual performance, and processes. Your experience will help you and your team craft the best approach to working with our partners and building our candidate pipelines.
  • Set clear goals. You’re comfortable with being assessed on the efficiency of your team and lead collective accountability for the team’s success as well as the way they achieve it
  • Partner closely with important CSS leaders. You’ll naturally seek to understand the what and the why and not afraid to ask if what we do today is the right way to approach tomorrow
  • Care. You’ll share our values and exhibit them in your actions and communication with colleagues and candidates. You’ll want everyone you work with to leave with an enhanced opinion of Atlassian and the recruiting function

    Your background


  • Interest in leading successful teams who exceeded hiring goals while forming successful relationships with hiring partners in a constantly evolving environment
  • Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with a passion to advocate for more inclusive approaches to hiring
  • 1+ years of experience leading or experience mentoring recruiters or sourcers, in a recruiting team
  • Command of metrics including pipeline data, hiring forecasts, and recruiting capacity
  • Experience with coaching, mentoring and developing talent
  • Collaboration skills at all levels of the organization
  • A deep understanding of sourcing technology, market trends, and talent strategy
  • It’s great if you have:
  • Familiarity with our relevant tools and programs (e.g Lever, SeekOut, etc.)
  • Experience leading cross-functional recruiting initiatives
