The Performance & Scale Center of Excellence ensures that all Atlassian SaaS Products are competitively performant at any scale. We aspire to unleash the potential of every team, with delightfully fast ways of moving our users’ work from inception to done.
Practically, this role will deliver FAST Atlassian SaaS products by; assessing their competitive performance, planning a strategy to be competitively performant, estimating & funding the required effort & providing platform support to make it happen.
This role is unique in terms of its scope & opportunity for influential impact across *every* Atlassian SaaS product. You; excel in ambiguous situations, are autonomous & stay motivated by the opportunity to improve the lives of 100s of millions of knowledge workers.
In this role, you will:
Lead the strategy to make all Atlassian SaaS product competitively performant at any scale
Lead enablement and plans for all SaaS teams at Atlassian to improve performance
Influence partner teams & leaders by creating a compelling vision & executable strategy
Partner with your data, design, product management & engineering squad team members to identify opportunities to accelerate performance improvements
Establish a network of performance champions across Atlassian’s SaaS products, enabling them to make rapid performance improvements
Report to our Head of Product for Performance & Scale Center of Excellence
On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:
Strong product management experience in B2C/B2B/Enterprise SaaS environments
Atlassian-wide company impactful strategy
The ability to form strategy through diagnosis, guiding policy & coherent actions, thereby creating a compelling vision & three year strategy
You partner with data scientists & analysts to develop customer-centric recommendations
Push at the edges of status quo & see failure an as opportunity to grow
Collaborative & influential soft leadership
Background in building relationships & influencing at all levels
Crisp storytelling tailored to diverse audiences, backed with compelling qualitative & quantitative insight
Present to executive leadership teams & discuss performance challenges with engineers
Executing with speed & collaboration
Experience transitioning between high-level strategy work & the ground-floor executional work
A bias for moving fast, without compromising quality or team collaboration
Balance customers needs with Atlassian needs & communicate the rationale behind decisions
User-focused mindset that finds the win-win intersection of diverse product strategies across Atlassian SaaS
It’s great, but not required, if you have:
Experience working with data analysts to Identify opportunities to develop customer-centric recommendations
Experience with platforms & products at multi-million user scale
Experience with marketplaces & 3rd party ecosystems
