Our Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) is looking for a Finance Manager to act as the local leader of our brand new Ops FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) team. You’ll work closely with the Head of Ops FP&A CoE to consolidate, prepare and analyze all areas of the Operations Finance reporting and forecasting across all functions. Working in a dynamic environment, we’re looking for teammates who are innovative, proactive, and willing to challenge the status quo!
In this role, you’ll get to:
Act as the local leader of the Ops FP&A CoE team to prepare financial analysis, decision support analysis, financial modelling and provide ad-hoc analytical support
Close co-operation with Head of Ops FP&A CoE on implementing the finance projects roadmap
Support the FP&A Operations team on their reporting and forecasting needs for each planning cycle e.g. preparing P&L targets, baselining expenses etc.
Partner with other teams within Finance to drive execution of forecasting, planning and actuals reporting
Facilitate finance optimization efforts and help us build a world-class FP&A organization by developing, standardizing, maintaining and driving continuous improvement of all planning and forecast process
On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:
A minimum of 5 years in finance and experience managing a finance team is a requirement
Prior Center of Excellence experience is highly preferred
Prior software sector experience is highly preferred
Possess a strong work ethic and are high energy
Are innovative, decisive, and willing to challenge the status quo
Are able to encourage a team to deliver outstanding results
Are able to stay organized while prioritizing objectives in a dynamic and challenging environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance leaders
Are a strategic problem solver, hands-on and inventive
Have a proven track record to motivate change while still being collaborative and inclusive in nature
Are adaptable and manage competing responsibilities and deadlines in a timely manner
Solid experience with planning and budgeting processes, financial forecasting, P&L management, interpreting and reporting business performance results
Advanced Proficiency in financial modelling
Strong technical fundamentals – excel, but also exposure to planning tools (Anaplan), database / data warehousing concepts and finance systems (CRM & ERP)
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics), MBA and/or CPA is a plus
