Channel Specialist, DACH


Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

We’re looking for our newest Atlassian who is driven to help develop Atlassian’s partner business in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Have you worked with channel partners before and want to do it at a hyper-growth company? The DACH market is an established market but with growth potential in all customer segments, including enterprise, with a particular focus on SaaS adoption.

We are seeking a Channel Manager that can enable & support our channel partners, as well as onboard new partners into our flagship partner program. The role requires someone who enjoys being challenged to strategically enable and develop our partners while at the same time supporting them operationally.

More about the role:


  • Own and build partner relationships as the primary point of contact within the territory. You will work in collaboration with the Channel Managers in your territory to define a coverage strategy and joint targets. You will report directly to the Channel Team Leader for DACH
  • Meet or exceed performance targets for your assigned partners and strive to consistently achieve the highest level of partner satisfaction.
  • Be responsible for partner communication, influence partners to align with Atlassian strategies and ensure partners follow sales and marketing standard methodologies.
  • Onboard and enable partners with minimal ramp-up time and maximum productivity.
  • Direct and assist partners on how to manage the partner program
  • Act as part of broader Atlassian customer and partner-facing team, e.g. through participation in team meetings and huddles and be an active contributor to discussions.
  • Work on initiatives and projects to improve the partner experience or the team’s overall efficiency.

    More about you:


  • More than 2 years of experience enabling, onboarding and/or managing partners in the enterprise software industry, ideally in a channel development role with a proven ability to build rapport with partners.
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a wide variety of people and roles.
  • Technically savvy, have good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills, proven ability to solve problems and learn new processes quickly.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, multitask and work independently.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to communicate concisely.
  • Fluency in German and English, written and verbal.



  • French language skills
  • Experience from Services and Consulting business
  • Atlassian product experience

    You will work closely with the regional manager and the team of Channel Managers and Channel Specialists to enable and develop new and existing partners. The team is part of a global organization that is tasked with building a channel that can deliver value to our customers. The team works closely with the partner program, enablement and field marketing teams, to develop and deliver programs that suit the needs of our local partners.
    The Global Channels team is part of the broader sales team, which has a very unique approach to selling. A huge portion of our sales is done via credit card over the web through a self-service, no negotiation, no discounting model. That being said, we have great teams that work directly with customers of all sizes to ensure that they have the information they need to make a decision and be successful in the adoption of our products.
