Airtable is seeking a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and Social Impact Lead to join our team.  The DEI and Social Impact Lead will be responsible for developing, curating and leading key programs and partnerships within Airtable and externally.  The ideal candidate will have experience with building strategic initiatives that drive measurable behavior change. We also want someone experienced in working directly with the business as trusted advisor who can bring our our one team value to life

In addition, the successful candidate will have these responsibilities:

What you'll do

  • Community Experience
    • Lead Employee Resource Groups (ERG) Strategy & Approach program
    • Create and lead ERG Lead Development Academy
    • Partner with broader Learning & Culture to amplify the  “Airtable Culture” through storytelling

  • Education + Awareness
    • Partner with HRBPs for DEI in business units for a curated strategy that aligns with business and team priorities
    • Partner across Learning & Culture team to create DEI education & awareness plan for employees and tailored approach for managers
    • Lead Cultural Moments Strategy & Committee for key campaigns and events
    • Provide best practices and deep subject matter knowledge on Inclusion strategies

  • Product Inclusion + Brand Impact 
    • Manage DEI Brand Impact efforts for Customer Engagement & Marketing organizations
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement a new Social Impact Strategy, while leading the external partnerships and access to education initiatives 
    • Partner with Marketing organization to curate the story of DEI + Social Impact integration in our business story
    • Leverage data visualization and measurement to drive DEI roadmap, and future iterations of brand impact direction based on the data

Who you are

  • 10+ years of experience in HR, DEI, Social Impact, and/or other multicultural disciplines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization
  • You love to think deeply about challenging problems and use data or research when applicable
  • You're able to build trust with cross-functional teams and be a trusted advisor in the space of DEI and Social Impact
  • You have a track record of delivering people programs that make a quantifiable impact
  • You’re an empathetic leader who is eager to stay close to the action, with an active hand in starting and contributing to DEI & Social Impact projects
  • You’re a proactive self-starter who navigates ambiguity effortlessly. There’s nothing you love more than creating and maintaining a structured and orderly process!
  • Ability to manage multiple demands, and prioritize/push back when needed
